On behalf of everyone on our gift list this year, Second Wind and Rise Alliance made a matching donation of 2,000 Bon Bons to Detroit-area hospitals—bringing a little joy to children, long-stay adult patients and the nurses and support teams who care for them.
From pediatric oncology to rehabilitation units, these treats went directly to patients and staff who deserved an extra smile this Holiday Season.
At Children’s Hospital of Michigan, one of the state’s foremost pediatric centers, the Bon Bons were shared across units serving infants through teens—including the NICU, PICU, oncology, pediatric emergency, Child Life Services and general pediatric floors. These departments care for some of the region’s most vulnerable young patients, and the treats reached both the children receiving care and the nurses, techs and support teams who support them daily.
At Corewell Health / Beaumont in Royal Oak, a major academic and community hospital serving both adult and pediatric populations, the Bon Bons were distributed to long-stay patients, rehabilitation and recovery units, oncology and other inpatient departments, as well as the staff who care for them. For individuals spending the holidays in the hospital—and the teams who make their care possible—this donation offered a small but meaningful moment of comfort.
We are grateful to all of our friends in the restructuring, lending, and legal professions who, like we do, believe in contributing value in all walks of life. Wishing you a strong start to 2026.
